Leith Hill Tiny House | Warburton Mountain Views

Leith Hill Tiny House is a home away from home for anyone looking to relax & unwind, surrounded by gorgeous scenery & mountain views. Relax with a good book on the day bed or a coffee or a wine on the front deck; and then finish off the evening getting toasty by the outdoor fire watching the sun set over the mountains. You can pat our friendly cows, see the new lambs, get a visit from our resident kookaburras, king parrots, rosellas & cockies during your stay- or even a wombat on some nights! The space Leith Hill is a 7 acre hobby farm with a couple of cows, sheep, ducks & chickens, plus our kelpie Maggie, and new pup Peppa, - with the Tiny House located in a private fenced off pocket of our property. The Tiny House has a loft bedroom, small kitchen with a cooktop & microwave, bathroom with shower & composting toilet (which works just as well as a regular toilet!); a day bed (perfect for reading a good book), as well as a large front deck with stunning mountain views. The bbq outside is perfect for cooking dinner on those warm evenings, and the fire pit area is stocked with all you need for a cosy night by the fire watching the stars & listening to the sounds of nature; or pop some tunes on the Bluetooth speaker if you’d prefer. We’ve also just added a sun room as another sitting room to relax in & take in the views- the winter sun warms this beautifully making it the perfect temperature on a nice day. Some breakfast basics will be supplied upon check in, as well as a selection of pods for the nespresso coffee machine. Tea, instant coffee, salt, pepper, cooking oil & basic condiments are also supplied. The kitchen does not have an oven, but the Weber q bbq can be used to cook roasts, and there is a casserole pot, smaller pots and a frying pan if you feel like doing a cook up on the stove. Also, our water is some of the cleanest water in Victoria, perfectly fine to drink! Guest access Guests are welcome to walk around the property, we have some beautiful redwoods & oaks nearby. We have a very friendly kelpie named Maggie who will likely come and say hello- she is usually out & about keeping an eye on the animals and property as she’s a working dog and it’s her job ☺️ We also have a new pup named Peppa who will often be out & about learning ropes too 🐶 Other things to note 🚙 We live on a gravel road- please respect our neighbours by driving slowly so you don't create dust ⛱️ There’s a cantilever umbrella on the deck for the summer months. Please ask us for a hand in putting it up if you haven’t used these before. It’s unable to be used on high wind days in case of damage. 🏊🏻 The river (just down the road) is great for swimming in the warmer weather- if you need ‘beach’ towels just ask and we can have some ready for you; we can also direct you to some less touristy swimming spots ☺️ 🌬️ Please note- in extreme cases of high wind the power can go off in town; in this case the tiny house will be powered by a generator that we will bring over and set up outside. No access to the house is required in this case. 💦 During winter when it’s cold out and warm inside the house can get condensation on the windows overnight; leaving the window open a crack over the table can help minimize this 🔥 no fires on total fire ban days 🐓 If you have any left over food please leave it in the fridge, our chickens will very happily finish it off for you
