Gruene River Haven - High & Dry On The River

The Gruene River Haven sleeps 22 and is a fantastic location to experience all that the New Braunfels and Gruene area have to offer. Situated directly on the Guadalupe River with 150 feet of river frontage it is the perfect location for family reunions, corporate events, small intimate weddings or any group gathering. Along the riverfront there are huge ancient cypress trees towering over a private floating river dock perfect for toobing, kayaking, or fishing. Comal County WORD Permit #L1494 The space The grounds consist of covered and shaded patios surrounded by large pecan and oak trees, a large fire pit area and a lush green lawn leading down to the river. On the patio there is a 55" large screen outdoor smart TV, bluetooth enabled sound bar, propane fired BBQ grill, wood/charcoal smoker, propane fired fire table, hot weather outdoor fan and a cold weather propane fired patio heater. Also, there is a 12 foot long outdoor raw edged cedar plank "Star Bar" perfect for summer time people watching. Toobs and kayaks are available for guest use. The house is a cozy setting with virtually every room in the house having an amazing view of the Guadalupe River. 9 bedrooms give everyone the privacy they need while still sleeping 22 comfortably. There are smart TVs in every bedroom, living room and patio. There is a dining room and breakfast dining area perfect for large holiday meals. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, utensils and cooking essentials. High chair and pack n play available. There is a Saluspa Hot Tub on outdoor deck available with a $20 preparation fee. Pets are generally not allowed but exceptions can be made for one maybe two pets under 50 lbs. You must request owner permission, sign a pet waiver before arrival and pay $50/day per pet fee/deposit. There is a vacation rental RV on a secluded part of the property at the top of a hill away from the main house which we rent separately and may have renters in it during your stay. The RV mentioned above can be made available to rent in addition to the main house for larger groups. With the RV rented in addition to the main house there is sleeping space for 26 and there is room to park 15 vehicles. Please contact us for details. It is possible that during daylight hours only we will need to launch toobers and kayakers from the river dock during your stay. These will be guests staying at our other properties.
