Heated Christmas Dome | Private Hiking Trails
Welcome to our enchanting geodesic dome nestled in the heart of nature, right on the shores of Table Rock Lake. This unique experience offers a perfect blend of comfort & adventure, allowing you to immerse yourself in the beauty of the great outdoors. The dome is surrounded by a private outdoor space where you can relax, unwind, & explore. A wet-weather creek carves a path through the property, which formed a beautiful hollow with unique rock formations & seasonal waterfalls. The space Campfire Hollow consists of two structures on 1.6 acres of wooded serenity. The Dome is the main living structure. The Wash House is the second structure. The Wash House is a short stroll from the Dome. The Wash House includes 2 standard toilets, 1 stand-up shower w/ hot water, washing vanity, and a washer/dryer. The Dome has 300 SF of living space with an 11' ceiling. The Dome has a plush queen-size bed, linens, blankets, and a queen air mattress for additional sleeping space. It also includes a small kitchenette, dining set, and basic utensils. The Dome is fully equipped with electricity and lighting for added convenience. Additional amenities include a mini fridge w/ freezer, water dispenser, coffee maker, toaster oven, electric griddle, games, books, etc. The outdoor space was created for fun and relaxation. Outdoor amenities include a wood burning firepit, picnic table, yard games, hammock, a park-style charcoal grill, a small Weber charcoal grill, 2 guest-only hiking trails to Table Rock Lake, and seasonal waterfalls. The Dome has a small air conditioner, solar ventilation fan, screened door for cross ventilation, and a large cooling fan for added comfort. The dome has a large electric heater, and we provide electric heating blankets to stay warm during cool nights. Please note, we are experiencing sweltering heat this summer. The dome is equipped with a small air conditioner. Still, it has difficulty keeping up during high humidity and temperatures above 90 degrees. The dome is essentially a big tent; it will be hot inside the dome during extreme heat. We recommend cooling off in Table Rock Lake or exploring Eureka Springs, AR, during the heat of the day. Then come back to the dome once it cools off. If you have any questions or concerns, please message me. Thank you! NO Wifi and limited cell service. AT&T cell service works best. Guest access You will have full private access to the Dome and the Wash House. Explore and enjoy the 1.6 acres of rugged terrain. There are no other structures or rentals on the property. There are 2 trails that start on our property and then meander through public land. The trails are for our guests; they are not open to the public. The Lake Trail is carved on the side of the hollow and runs along the creek bed. The Lake Trail leads to the rugged shoreline of Table Rock Lake. The Overlook Trail is a flat trail that winds through the evergreens. The Overlook Trail leads to a rock ledge with a spectacular view of Table Rock Lake. The Lake trail is rugged and narrow, with steep drop-offs. We do not recommend hauling a kayak or any other boat down the Lake trail. There are no boat launches on our property. We do not recommend swimming in the little cove at the end of the Lake trail. The lake is shallow in that area, with a lot of debris driftwood directly under the water's surface. The best place to swim, launch a kayak/boat, and do any other lake activity is Big M Recreation Area - 10 mins from Campfire Hollow. We are a pet-friendly establishment. Pets are allowed anywhere on the property. We include food and water bowls and a pet bed for our furry friends. Waste containers are located throughout the property; please clean up after your pet. Please note the property has steep drop-offs, wildlife, and other natural hazards that could harm your pets. Other things to note Things to note before booking: The Wash House is located 100 ft. from the Dome, along a lighted rock path. You will walk from the Dome to the Wash House to use the bathroom. You will be in nature. You might see deer, rabbits, squirrels, insects, mosquitos, ticks, snakes, etc. We recommend bringing insect repellent with Deet. We spray the Dome and Wash House. You will hear coyotes howling in the fields behind the property. You might smell cows from the fields behind the property. We have not seen any dangerous animals around the property. There's a good chance you will be greeted by the neighborhood dogs. They are very friendly. They love people, so you might see them throughout your stay. If you ask them to go away, they will usually listen.
