Our beach house is at the foot of the Caruari mountain range. The house is completely surrounded by forest, especially by the Embira species, a tree widely used by indigenous people as rope. The flowers and branches of the Embira trees are like food and passage for monkeys, birds, sloths and anteaters. We also have visits from agoutis and iguanas running through our garden. We value living in balance with the forest, during the day we enjoy the shade of the trees and at night the coolness of the dawn dispenses with air conditioning.
