Private gated driveway leads to our secluded Off‑Grid glamper treehouse situated on mountaintop acreage bordering the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Cherokee National Forest. Featuring Eco-Friendly Solar Power, Refrigerated Cooler, indoor Rain‑Collected Heated Shower & Vented Compost Toilet, Comfy Beds, and covered Outdoor Kitchenette for cooking and dining in the treetops, plus your own private Fire Ring. Pet Friendly w $15 fee. The space The property is remote and protected from the noise and lights of the city. Located on the quiet, north side of GSMNP, the treehouse is about 2 miles from the Big Creek entrance to the Park and less than a mile from the Appalachian Trail at Davenport Gap. Bring your belongings, your food for meals, and adventure gear. We provide most cooking essentials, dish-ware, bedding, towels, soap, and toilet paper. The kitchenette has potable water and hand basin, two-burner propane stovetop on concrete countertop, separate propane grill, and dining for four. There is a coffee percolator, which doubles as a kettle, and brews your own ground coffee. There is an Igloo ICF40 refrigerated cooler to store your meal-prep food. One fee/pass covers all dogs for all nights. Please pick up after pets! Onsite hiking trails from the treehouse have been cleared for 2025. The short footpaths are new, not heavily beaten in yet (will happen with time) and connect with two individual quarter-mile loop trails and an old mountaintop cemetery summit. Attention: these are steep paths (leg workout!) Guest access You will Self Check-in at the property. A few days before your stay dates, please check your Messages Inbox (Airbnb App.) You will be sent a numeric code for the house lock and be provided with **detailed instructions and directions** — this is a rural area. Mobile phone reception is spotty en route but there is cellular service at the property once you arrive. Other things to note The gravel driveway leads out and back, with limited turnaround space. Parking area can creatively hold two typical vehicles. No RVs, Campers or vehicles with trailers. A dilapidated cabin owned by a neighbor visible from our driveway is vacant and he uses the driveway on occasion to reach his real house, which is down the mountain and out of direct sight. You might see him with his 2 dogs, Jack and Jill.
