The space You’ll have access to the whole house: - Living room with books, books, more books and an electric fireplace; - Newly renovated and stocked - Kitchen with counter eating, gas stove and dishwasher - Den/eating area with gas fireplace - Bedroom 1 (queen bed) - Bedroom 2 (queen bed) - Office space - Wi-fi - Full bathroom - Deck / front porch and yard with hammock, comfy chairs, mini fire pit, and cafe table/chairs - Amenities like cozy comforters on the beds, beautiful art on the walls, toiletries, well-equipped kitchen, coffee, and lots of books on the shelves. Beyond the cottage doors is the incredible Upper Valley: You’ll be steps from Simon Pearce (watch glassblowers, enjoy brunch). Cross the street to the village green to watch balloons take off in the summer or to snowshoe in the winter. Take the covered bridge over the waterfall to get to Lake Pinneo or Jake’s Quechee Market. The Quechee Club with Golf course, swimming pools, tennis courts, and ski center is around the corner — perfect for families. And that’s just Quechee! You’re also just a short 10-20 minute drive from the best of Vermont: distilleries, breweries, farmers markets, leaf peeping, skiing, hiking trails galore. Woodstock offers Vermont small town like you imagine, including Marsh-Billings Farm and The Rockefeller National Park. White River Junction is the local arts and dining mecca with professional theater, film festivals, art galleries, funky shops and museums, yoga and meditation studios, and a diversity of restaurants to please every palate. Hanover is home to Dartmouth College, Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Montshire Museum, and the Hopkins Center/Hood Museum. There is so much on offer for the foodie, the outdoorsman, or the culture buff, you’ll be ready to relax on the deck after all the exploring! Whether you’re coming to visit your Dartmouth grad or enjoying a family vacation, my little cottage will be a perfect base to come home to. Please note: I own a dog who will NOT be in residence when you are. The house is very clean, but there may be pet dander; those with pet allergies take note. 1 dog is permitted by request /arrangement; a cleaning fee of $50 will be added to your payment. Cats are not permitted due to allergies. Please clean up after your dog and remove dog poop from the yard. There is a lovely park across the street perfect for dog walking. Guest access Guest access for a per-person day-fee to the Quechee Club can be procured at the clubhouse information desk. Ski passes can be purchased at the lift-side ticket booth. Other things to note 1 dog per rental is permitted for an additional $50 cleaning fee which will be added to your bill. Additional Dog may be permitted via prior arrangement/ permission only. No cats due to allergies. The driveway is shared with my neighbor; please park with courtesy. I have a white husky- although I clean like mad, you may come across dog hair. If you have allergies, let me know!
