Longhorn Get-Away near Waco!

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Watch the sun set as you enjoy your favorite beverage on the front porch. Feed the Longhorns and see if you can spot any new babies. Sleep comfortably in the Barndominum with three queen-size beds. Cook dinner in a nice kitchen or cook out on the grill! Enjoy the huge walk-in shower when it is time to clean up from an active day of touring Silos, Waco or the gristmill in Valley Mills. The space When you walk in the front door you will notice one large room with a full kitchen, dining table for 6, and a living area with a large TV. There is a bedroom and full bath off of the main living area. The upstairs has two queen size beds, a half bath, a table and chairs by the window to catch the sunset and a ping pong table to enjoy! Guest access The Barndominium is half home and half barn. The front half is the home, which you will have full use of. The back half of the barndomium is a storage area for the owners. A cat lives in the barn part of the space so you may occasionally hear Toby coming and going through his window/door. This area will be locked. Other things to note The barndominium sits on the same property as the owners home. While the homes are relatively close, they are situated so the porches are private from each other. There are no other homes on the property. We have Longhorn cattle and in the spring and summer, we usually have several baby calves running around. We will provide cubes (feed) for the cattle so you can feed them at the fence. We ask that you throw the feed over the fence and respect them by not getting too close to the fence.
