Historic Loblolly Lodge at Ratcliff Lake

The Loblolly Lodge was built by Frank Taylor as a gathering place for his family around 1940. Remodeled in 2018, it now boasts of all the modern conveniences for a great getaway. With 2400sf of indoor living space & a 640sf covered back porch there is plenty of space for several families. The Lodge is nestled on 11 private wooded acres adjacent to Ratcliff Lake Recreation Area in the Davy Crockett National Forest which offers fishing, swimming, picnicking, and hiking for a small entrance fee. The space There are 3 sleeping quarters. The Headquarters and Hindquarters each have two queen size bunk beds. The “Storeroom” has a queen size bed. Guest access You have full use of the Lodge and the 11 acres it is on. There are also kayaks and a canoe by the red barn that you are welcome to use. We have a few life jackets and cushions located in the storage chest adjacent to them. Please respect the wildlife and of course, hunting is not permitted on our property.
