Walking distance to UNT, the Downtown Denton Square, restaurants, & pretty much anything you need. This Guesthouse is a converted Historic Garage behind a 1930s Craftsman-style Bungalow. Space features: - King-sized Bed - Kitchenette with Quartz Countertops - Full Bathroom with Spacious Shower - Table & Chairs for Eating or Working - Comfortable Chair with Ottoman As you drive down Oak Street, you'll see beautiful historic mansions on your left & right. As you pull up to our house, you'll be able to park along the street in the public parking in front of each house. Once you walk up the driveway to our property, you'll see the front house where our family lives. To the right of our house is a gate (we'll send you the code) that will take you down the driveway to the guesthouse. The guesthouse is a converted historic garage, so when you see the "garage," you'll know you're getting close. There will be a lockbox connected to the door for you to enter a code & retrieve a key. When you enter the space, you'll be greeted with a large King-sized bed & a comfortable chair & ottoman to sit on. In the back of the room, you'll see the kitchenette with mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker and other kitchen supplies. As you move to the back of the room, you'll see the private bathroom on your left. We have a top-of-the-line Daikin AC/heat unit that is controlled by the remote control next to the door. This guesthouse has been recently remodeled & everything is new for your comfort! City of Denton STR #2310-0704 You can easily walk most places you'd want to go. The Downtown Denton Square has some of the best restaurants in Dallas/Fort Worth. Public parking is available on the street in front of the houses. There is one public parking spot in front of the main house which is your best bet, but if that spot is taken, there are other spots up and down the street. We are typically nearby and available to help out if you need anything during your stay! Welcome to the Oak-Hickory Historic District! Each house on this block has so much history associated with it. Many of these homes date back to the late 19th century & early 20th century. Gorgeous block to enjoy a morning walk & view all of the historic homes! Right down the street from the Downtown Denton Square with restaurants, activities, and more! You can easily walk to UNT, the Downtown Square, restaurants and other attractions. Much of what you may need is within walking distance, but we also have many Uber/Lyft drivers in the community as well. People love to bike around our neighborhood, so if you have a bike, feel free to bring it. There is parking available along the street in front of our house. Ideal for long-term stays, but possible to do a shorter stay. Please contact us to unblock future dates if needed, or if you have a specific request.
