This fantastic 300 acre plantation style estate home is located on the east coast of Trinidad. It sits perched beautifully on top of the mountain, providing you with the most breathtaking sunsets overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. If you are a nature seeker and a lover of lush beautiful landscape, this is the place for you! On the other hand, if you are simply looking for a place to escape the hustle, bustle and stresses of day to day life, there is no better place to unwind and kick back! The space Since this gem is nestled into rich landscape, its only source of water comes from the rain. The surrounding lands are planted with a variety of herbs for cooking and these can be picked fresh from the garden if you wish. An array of fruits can also be found on this land. You are free to enjoy those once they are in season. In addition, fresh delicious coconut water is available upon request. We also offer fresh honey from our own bee hives. This estate has been in the family for over 40 years and we expect you to treat it with as much love and care as we do :) Guest access The 300 acre estate comprises of a spectacular, private one mile beach that is accessible via walking or driving. There are several outdoor trails for running, walking, hiking or strolling. Other things to note While visiting the estate, there are several tours available that we can assist with. These include going to the river to see manatees, fishing in the Atlantic Ocean, spare fishing for lobster, camping in the deep forest, hunting (ONLY during hunting season) and many more. The estate is approximately an hour and a half drive from the airport and is extremely secluded and private. We have a private beach on site which can be accessed from the house, however a 4wd vehicle is necessary. We do have a "mule" which has 4WD and can drive 4-6 people to the beach and around the estate. We rely solely on rain water, so conservative water usage is greatly appreciated. We also have no hot water on the estate. There are one and a half indoor bathrooms as well as one outdoor shower. This is not a luxurious vacation home however, you can expect all basic amenities to be met. If you would like to sit back, relax and enjoy nature at it's finest this is the place for you !
