We are located in the residential community of Sou Sou Lands. We are in close proximity to Mt. Pleasant and the village of Buccoo. Guests have access to a shared out door kitchen. No stove is available. We operate a taxi service and offer our guests discounted rates for ferry and airport transfers, as well as tours around the island. We assist with arrangements for renting cars and for visiting the Nylon Pool. We offer tips for taking local cabs and buses. Sou Sou Lands is a quiet community. There is a Comfort Safety Patrol which patrols our neighborhood daily. There is a popular Roti shop and Bethany Mini Mart better known as "Terry Brown's Shop" within walking distance. Historic Mt. Pleasant Anglican Church is about 5 minutes away by car. The Mount Pleasant Community grounds, which hosts goat and crab races, as well as other sporting and community events is also within walking distance. The Carib Dixie Steel band's home base is at the nearby Mt. Pleasant community center grounds. One is able to take a local taxi and the bus at "Terry Brown's Shop", which is a five minute walk from Our Sanctuary. Most taxi drivers are familiar with "Terry Brown's Shop", so it is a good landmark when guests are returning home after a day on the beach or a night at The Shade or "Sunday School".
