Bat Cave Cabin

We just recently remodeled the porch and added to the kitchen. This cabin has so much space to just sit around the house with family, or go outside and enjoy nature. It's nice, quiet, and so peaceful. There is a pond right next to the cabin that y'all are able to catch and release. Also a fire place to grab some chairs and tell story's by the fire. There is no internet or cable but there is a dvd player and a few movies. We have a cell phone booster that works for all carriers. The space My father in-law had built this place with his brother. My husband and I have just recently remodeled it. I'm in a wheelchair so we understand about how accessible some things need to be. We tried making it where there are no steps and everything is reachable. If you need a shower chair or sliding board we have some available so just ask! This cabin is located about 15-20 min outside the town of Alton. We are surrounded by woods. So it's not unusual to see different type of critters and wildlife around the property. We try our best to make sure that's the only place you see them. We make sure to have the cabin sprayed for bugs and put out sticky traps/poison for mice every few months. Other things to note We are about 15-20 minutes away from the town of Alton. The cabin is also about a mile down dirt road. There's not any super close neighbors so you're left alone to enjoy the quiet! Our cabin is easy to find but some might say out in the middle of nowhere. We are surrounded by woods and not even half a mile away from government land. When you think in the country this is the type of place you think of!
