We just recently remodeled the porch and added to the kitchen. This cabin has so much space to just sit around the house with family, or go outside and enjoy nature. It's nice, quiet, and so peaceful. There is a pond right next to the cabin that y'all are able to catch and release. Also a fire place to grab some chairs and tell story's by the fire. There is no internet or cable but there is a dvd player and a few movies. We have a cell phone booster that works for all carriers. The space My father in-law had built this place with his brother. My husband and I have just recently remodeled it. I'm in a wheelchair so we understand about how accessible some things need to be. We tried making it where there are no steps and everything is reachable. If you need a shower chair or sliding board we have some available so just ask! Other things to note We are about 15-20 minutes away from the town of Alton. The cabin is also about a mile down dirt road. There's not any real close neighbors so you're left alone to enjoy the quiet!
