The space Our house is situated on a hilltop near the bay of Playa Camarón, in Zipolite, Oaxaca, Mexico. We are a 7-minute walk by stairs and a foot path through flora to the mile-long Zipolite beach (clothing optional) or to the smaller cove of Camarón beach. However, you may choose to spend the day relaxing on our sunny patios or airy breezeway and in the pool. Enjoy the ocean panorama of Zipolite beach, the horizon and Roca Blanca Island - in season, you may even catch sight of a passing migrating whale. Our six well-appointed rooms can comfortably accommodate up to 14 people. All have ocean views, king-sized beds, a/c, fan, private baths with hot water, and WiFi. Breakfast is complimentary. Surf – Junior Suite From your bed or from your private terrace enjoy the sight of the rolling surf of Zipolite beach framed by bougainvillea. Like all our rooms, this one has king-size bed, a/c, private bath with hot water, WiFi and complimentary breakfast. Extra features include ample room with mini-fridge and smart TV. Access by stairs. Guest access Every morning we offer tea, Oaxacan coffee and fresh juice, a plate of fresh seasonal fruits, yogurt and local honey, cereal and granola, with a warm breakfast dish if you would like. At other times, we have snacks and drinks available to purchase, and use of a refrigerator and microwave. Due to our balcony and elevated ocean views, Casa Kalmar is not suitable for children. Please be aware that walking to the beach and town involves several sets of stairs from our hilltop location. All rooms are non-smoking. During your stay I stay at the house almost all day so for any need you can find me around. If I am out, I am anyway reachable by phone. I am pleased and available for any information about the area, about transport, tips for restaurants, boat trips and things to do in the surroundings.
