Most major credit cards are accepted at most restaurants, hotels, grocery and general retail stores and shops. Electricity: Trinidad & Tobago operate on 110/230 volts and 60 cycles of electric current. Entry regulations: All visitors must have a return airline ticket and a valid passport for entry into Trinidad & Tobago. What to wear: Casual attire in lightweight fabrics. Formal eveningwear is not required even at best restaurants. Bathing suits are worn on beaches only. What to bring: Protection from the sun -- hats, sunscreen and skin lotions are essential.
