Enjoy a full ocean view and all the bests of South Padre Island at this family friendly beach house located walking distance to the Island's largest grocery store and popular restaurants. Rooms are spacious, beds and linens are luxurious, and the kitchen has all a cook might desire. There is a beach access across the street, making your two minute walk to the ocean easy. The wrap around porch is perfect for watching the sunrise or the weekly firework shows. This is a home away from home! The space We have four bedrooms and three full baths. Our beds include a king (master 2nd floor), a queen, three twins, and a queen-sized sleeper sofa (2nd floor). All have quality mattresses and linens. Two full baths are upstairs and one full bath (plus a tub) is downstairs. Bath and beach towels are provided, as well as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Our kitchen (2nd floor) has all the cooking tools and serving pieces one could want and its appliances include: a refrigerator with filtered water and an ice maker, an electric range, a microwave, and a dishwasher. (Please message the host if you want to use our propane grill.) Enjoy a full ocean view from our living room space, kitchen, and dining room (all on 2nd floor). All rooms have ceiling fans and all windows have blinds. Our laundry room has an over-sized washer and dryer and an additional refrigerator/freezer. In the garage, you will find beach chairs, boogie boards, toys, and a wagon for carrying it all down to the ocean. The beach access across the street has a plastic walkway on the sand, making this two minute journey a piece of cake. When you return from the beach, you can use our outdoor shower to remove the sand. The wrap around porch is the perfect place to start your day by watching the sun rise or end your evening by watching the sunset. There are weekly fire work shows that can be enjoyed from the porch as well. We are a pet-friendly home, but ask that you always clean up after your pet, keep him/her off the furniture, and dry him/her off well after a frolic in the ocean. Keep in mind the Island's strict leash law for all pets. Guest access Our entire home is open to you. Other things to note Please note that glass containers are NOT allowed on the beach. This is carefully monitored by the beach patrol and tickets will be issued. Street speed limits are also strictly enforced as well as the Island's pet leash law. Our main living area, kitchen, master bedroom, and bedroom/office are on the second floor. A pet fee will be applied upon booking.
