The Peaceful Pelican is a comfortable 1910 Victorian home full of charm and located on scenic Matagorda Bay. Enjoy the view from the widow’s walk high above the Bay, or just relax and watch the water from the front porch. On weekends enjoy a full delicious 4-course breakfast seated at the dining table overlooking the Bay. We offer a tranquil stay away from the stresses of city life. Palacios has no traffic, no waiting lines, and is full of friendly laid back people. One of two suites in the Sassy Seagull Cottage, the Galley Suite has a kitchen, living, and dining area. The bedroom has an attached 1/2 bath with an additional bathroom w/shower off the laundry room. Amenities include a washer, dryer, and fully furnished kitchen. It comes with a patio overlooking Matagorda Bay and is within walking distance to the public park, seaside walking trail, and public fishing piers. Please note that this suite does not include breakfast. Pets are welcome. There is a $25 pet fee per pet with a 2 pet limit. Local activities include: birding, walking/jogging, fishing, biking, sunbathing, swimming, kayaking, sailing, kite flying, and picnics.
