We are on the border of Texas & LA and midway between lake Charles, LA and Beaumont, TX. We are in a very quiet, private neighborhood with one entry road. It is a safe place for a morning walk. Enjoy a very large circle driveway at the main house, and a beautiful walk way through the side gate to the Guest House in the back property. The Guest House is separate from the main house. The Coastal retreat themed guest house includes a regular size kitchen with full refrigerator, sink, oven/stove, dishes, pots, and microwave. There is a Keurig coffee maker, toaster, and blender. There is a bathroom with shower and tub, Queen sized bed, a couch, TV, AC, 2 small chests with 3 drawers each. A closet with a clothes rack. A small dinner table and 2 chairs. We think you will love sleeping on the brand new memory foam mattress. We have plenty of sheets, blankets, and pillows. Our space can sleep 2 adults. It’s a clean space and has the essentials—and we think you’ll find it comfortable and relaxing. You’ll feel safe in our lovely neighborhood and find it convenient to most places in the Golden Triangle. We love our neighborhood and love our home and are happy to share it with you. Our Guest House is located on 3 acres in a quiet neighborhood in Orange, Texas. Our neighborhood is safe and peaceful, and has beautiful trees/scenery to enjoy a morning walk. There is one entry road into the neighborhood so there isn't much traffic coming through, and only the people who live here drive in. Lindenwood Neighborhood is known for being one of the top places to live in Orange, and is known for its large spacious yards, and quiet atmosphere. We sit right next to The Brown Mansion and Estate, which was the original property owner of this Lindenwood neighborhood. If you are coming to Orange for travel or work, be sure to take a tour and visit the Brown Mansion next door, as well as the Botanical Gardens next door to the mansion, and the Shangri La Botanical Gardens in the heart of Orange. We also have the Stark Museum of Art, and the Stark House which both give tours, and the Lutcher Theatre of Performing Arts only 5 miles away. We have a very large circle driveway, where you are welcome to park in front of the mainhouse. Feel free to park anywhere on the circle drive and you will see at the garage is a small gate to the left side of the garage, between the main house and the garage, attached to both. Do not use the gate on the right of the garage, as it is a storage section. Once you enter the gate on the left of the garage, you will see a large Oak tree and a walkway path from the back porch to the guest house. Just take the walking path to the guest house, which is a golden yellow color, and enjoy your stay! Our next door neighbors have dogs as pets in their yard, and there is a fence between our property and theirs, but you may notice them as you are making your way to the guest house.
