Welcome to La Dolce Casa, our fabulous and recently renovated house in Brookland DC. Located about 10-15 min driving from the White House, the house is perfect for couples, families with children, or groups of friends. Admire the sunset over a glass of wine on the front porch after a long day of sightseeing, or relax watching some TV in the beautifully decorated living room. Closest metro is Brookland metro on the Red Line (10-15 min walking from the house). The space Our house has a total of 4 bedrooms (3 bedrooms upstairs and one bedroom on the lower level) so it can comfortably host 8 guests. There are 5 beds in total: one queen, 2 full, 2 twins (bunk beds). There is one sofa bed in the main living room and another one on the lower level for a total of max 10 guests. 2 full bathrooms (one upstairs and one on the lower level) and a half bathroom on the main level. House features open floor plan, stunning kitchen with granite and stainless steel appliances. Kitchen is fully equipped for those keen on cooking. Coffee, tea, sugar and filtered water are complimentary in the kitchen. All bedrooms upstairs are spacious and have beautiful hardwood floors. Comfortable memory foam mattresses in each bedroom. Bathroom upstairs is stunning with a skylight where natural light comes in. Toiletries are available in each bathroom. A bath towel, a hand towel and a washcloth will be provided for each guest. The lower level has a full bedroom and bathroom, a kitchenette and a living room with smart TV and board games for the whole family to relax and enjoy. 2 private parking spaces available in the back. **Property has three levels with stairs so it’s not suitable for people with limited mobility.** High chair and pack n play travel crib (with mattress and bedsheets) are available for families traveling with infants or toddlers. Fast speed Wi-Fi available throughout the house. Enjoy your stay! Guest access Self check-in available in the front and back of the house using our smart locks. If driving, guests can park in the back of the house and enter using the back door. A unique code for each door will be generated 24 hours prior to check-in. To unlock the door please touch the lock so the light turns on then enter the code provided followed by the numerical sign #. To lock the door please press and hold the numerical sign # for a few seconds until it’s locked. The basement door has a lock but guests will not be able to enter from there as a code will not be generated for the basement door. All 3 levels will be available for our guests, including the lower level. Please only use the front and back door on the main level to access the house. Other things to note The house is located in Brookland DC and about 10-15 min driving from the White House and all the main touristic attractions. NO PETS. NO PARTIES. NO OUTSIDE GUESTS. If guests are caught with pets or having parties without our consent they will be asked to leave the property immediately. Firearms or any type of weapons are strictly not allowed in our property.
