Snuggle into the plush queen bed, enjoy a private bathroom with a hot shower, and make use of amenities like a microwave, coffee maker, mini-fridge, and wine glasses, ideal for savoring local wines. While the tents can get warm during the peak daylight hours in the summer, our AC units work effectively once the sun goes down to ensure a cold and comfortable temperature for sleeping at night. Please note, it is prohibited to leave pets unattended inside the unit. Pet-Friendly & Family-Welcoming Bring your four-legged companions along for the adventure! Our tent is fully pet-friendly, providing a comfortable retreat for both you and your furry friends. To ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for all guests, we kindly ask that pets remain leashed and are never left unattended in the tent. A $50 penalty applies to undeclared pets, in addition to the standard pet fee. Checking In Our on-site team is available during tasting room hours (Friday to Sunday, 12:00–6:00 PM). For late arrivals or check-ins outside of these times, we provide detailed self check-in instructions to ensure a smooth arrival. If you need assistance, we will do our best to respond as quickly as possible, however response times may vary outside of operating hours. If you’re planning to arrive later in the evening, please reach out in advance so we can make sure everything is ready for you. Guest access Guests have access to enjoy our beautiful grounds and winery. We have an outdoor terrace where we frequently have live music events and where guests can enjoy a glass of wine. Please join us on a vineyard tour and check out our new tasting room. *Culinary Delights and Local Flavors* At the 12 Fires Winery tasting room, indulge in our pizza and delicious charcuterie board, laden with a variety of meats, cheeses, nuts, crackers, and spreads. Pair your feast with a glass of our handcrafted wines, and don't forget to try our famous Martins Nutz (Glazed Pecans). For those looking to dine out, Johnson City boasts an array of dining options, from the casual comfort of Fat Boy Burgers and Home Town Donuts to the refined cuisine at 290 Locale Winery & Pizzeria and Proof and Cooper at the Lumberyard. We also have fun games like horseshoes, axe throwing, and cornhole on the property. Our prime location near Johnson City and Fredericksburg offers a gateway to some of the region's best attractions. Just a short drive away, Pedernales Falls State Park beckons with its flowing river, perfect for swimming, hiking trails, horseback riding, fishing, and a bird blind for nature enthusiasts. For a truly magical experience, don't miss a visit to Enchanted Rock, where you can hike to breathtaking vistas. If you're in the mood for a cultural and conservation experience, head to The Preserve, a nearby attraction that offers a chance to see wildlife and enjoy guided tours. Other things to note Weekday wine tastings are available by request—reserve in advance for a more personalized experience. Glamping for Groups This is one of five glamping tents at our winery. If you're traveling with a group, let us know—we’d love to help accommodate your stay. Tasting Room Hours We’re open Friday – Sunday, 12 PM – 6 PM. If your stay falls outside these hours, reach out—we’ll do our best to accommodate you. Amenities for a Cozy Stay Firepits are available onsite, with firewood and fire starters for a perfect evening under the stars.
