The Tata May room.

Named after my uncle, Lynn Court Norton, nicknamed after one of his childhood sweethearts, this room features a queen size bed and private bath with a five foot, claw-foot tub. The space The building, today known as the Hammond House, was built to serve as the county jail in 1876. A few years the county seat was moved to Franklin, and a new jail was built there. The building was converted into a hotel, and eventually my great-grandmother bought it and raised her family. Please be aware that parts of the building are being restored.
