Small and cozy unique apartment on a hill, overlooking Stillhouse Lake. It's tucked in the back of our shop/garage, with a partially shade covered deck. Kick back and watch the wildlife, birds and hummingbirds, while drinking coffee and enjoying the beautiful views. We are in the Country, close to Stillhouse Lake, and only a short drive to Cadence Bank Center, Belton, UMHB, Chalk Ridge or Dana Peak Park. Parking including room for a trailer. The space 2 rooms in the back of the shop with a long walkway onto a partially covered deck. There is a small couch for seating. Our friends described our space as a very cozy, comfortable and quiet cottage with a beautiful view of the lake and valley. Guest access Parking can be in front of the sign, as well as along the fence by the road. If you are bringing a Boat/Trailer, please let us know. There are no steps. Follow the cushed stone/wooden walkway to the end onto the covered deck. You can also access the Corps of Engineer property in the back and find your way to the lake (very brushy but fun). There is also some Geocaching. Other things to note We are in the country overlooking Stillhouse Hollow Reservoir, it's kinda woodsie and about 5 min drive from I-14 following some ups, downs and winding roads. There is a loveseat but no actual living room, the toilet is enclosed and the shower and sink are open. The space is like a cabin, very comfortable and quiet and best for one person or a couple. There is no stove or oven, however the kitchenette offers a hotplate, microwave and toaster and toaster oven. We are close to the Lake and have lots of Mosquitos. There is a Bug Zapper Light on the other side of the deck. Please plug it in to the GFI outlet if needed.
