In the Christmas mountains, just outside Big Bend National Park, our tiny house awaits. Perfect for one or two. Limit 2 Less than a mile from hwy 118 on all weather road you will find the solitude that is Far West Texas. Comfortable and clean with a full kitchen, half bath on suite(protected shower at base of sitting porch). High quality Tuft and Needle queen bed. 10 mile to park entrance, 8 to groceries and gas, 13 Terlingua Ghost Town. State Park and easy ride up the Rio Grande. The space Very compact 288 sq ft (24x20) with partition for 1/2 bath. Queen bed one side, kitchenette other. Nice raised sitting porch thru front door. Two steps down to out door shower. Hammock hooks on shade cover with fire ring adjacent. 30x30 steel shade structure covering front of building. Small clothes area inside bathroom. We have good water, but no filter system; so cannot recommend drinking or cooking. No laundry. Mini split type heat and cooling. Because of wildlife and pet restrictions in the parks We have strict NO PET POLICY. We have lost pets before and know the heartbreak. We also treat all paper as trash and NEVER FLUSH ANY PAPER REGARDLESS. WE ARE DARK SKY PEOPLE Other things to note Please use directions we provide, not gps: too many roads show up and they are a problem for neighbors and some not so good for your vehicle. Make sure you set up wifi calling on your celly. very important here as the local phone co. put in fiber optic internet service but charges a premium for a landline(that is still a wifi thing anyway). so hardly anyone has a landline
