The reason why our location is so ideal is because all the nearby cities are 20-30 minutes away from all directions, while South Padre Island is only a 1 hour drive away. Our farmhouse is on the country side so if you're looking to escape the city and are ready to embrace the beauty of nature then this will be the place for you. The private room we offer is the perfect spot to relax and rest, with lots of natural lighting and a calm relaxing ambience. On top of the private room and private bath, it essentially feels like you are renting out an entire suite. Our home is only 10 min from the highway, 15 min from the outlet mall, 20 min from the city of Mcallen/Edinburg/Elsa/Edcouch/San Juan/Pharr/Harlingen/Mission/La Feria/Donna and a 1-hr drive away from our local beach, South Padre. Our home is a home away from home. It is a tranquil place to be, to get away from the hustle and bustle in the city. Perfect place to stay if you are here for business, a vacation, attending a wedding, shopping, etc. Our farmhouse sits on a 2.2 acre lot so is very spacious. You are renting out the ENTIRE half of the house which includes the Private Living Room, Private Lounge Area, Private Dining Room, and Private Guest Room with Private Bathroom. The only shared spaces are the Laundry Area and Kitchen. Guest access In addition to the private room, our guests have exclusive access to the dining room, lounge area, living room and front porch which includes a bench swing. There is a basketball hoop available outside. They will be able to take a walk outside within our acreage and experience greeting our goats or chickens. You can paint, plant, and meditate anywhere. During your stay Preferably we like to welcome our guests personally and show you to your room and everything you have access to. However, in certain situations you will be able to Self Check-in for we will provide a passcode once the room has been booked. Throughout your stay our interaction will be minimal, except for any time you need assistance or have any questions. You as a guest are renting out the ENTIRE half of the house and we want you to feel as comfortable as possible. As mentioned, the only shared space is the kitchen and laundry. We will definitely always be available for any questions or concerns and will only be a phone call or text away.
