60's Modern Artist Residence

Our house is only 10-15 minutes from the heart of Austin. Its a 3BR, 2BA ranch style home on a quiet street. The space Our recently renovated home is the perfect mix of sixties modern and contemporary comfort. For being so close to the city, our house is situated on the edge of Austin proper. The house is flooded with natural light in the day and the neighborhood is quiet at night. We are fine artists and the walls throughout are adorned with work from our previous years. Come enjoy a hidden slice of the country within the city limits! Guest access You are welcome to sit in the office when you need to take care of work, and we hope you enjoy the sunroom when you are kicking up your feet. We ask that you keep the garage doors closed and come in and out of the front door - as the garage is an active studio space. Other things to note Driving down Springdale is an easy way to get into East Austin - there is a little road construction at 183 and Springdale (it causes congestion around 5-6:30 PM). We are very close to Austin's only Waffle House! In non-traffic hours, 290 W to I-35 = Easy. We are right behind Happy Trail and if you'd like to frolic in a pasture, there is a field across the street.
