Situated halfway between NRG Stadium and Downtown Houston, adjacent to the Museum District, Midtown, the Montrose area offers restaurants, bars, and cultural attractions to make it an ideal location for optimizing your time in Houston. The house is a one-mile walk to two light rail stops (with access to NRG Stadium and Downtown). You’ll love my place because of the bohemian ambiance, the neighborhood, and the comfy bed. The space This 2 bed, 2.5 bathroom townhome built in 1975 was recently updated with a contemporary, mid-century Mexican design direction. The living room offers a gas fireplace, projection screen television, and stereo surround sound. There's an outdoor shower, a Jura coffee machine, and free WiFi. Thee coffee shop on the corner is popular with locals and the barbecue and Mexican restaurants two blocks away are some of Houston's best. Candente, the Mexican restaurant is recognized by Michelin. Guest access Guests may access the entire house, less closets marked "Private." Other things to note The Montrose area is Houston's original heart of funky, hip, and eclectic. Also, NRG Stadium is 4.2 miles south, Midtown is 2 miles northeast, and Downtown Houston is approximately 3 miles northeast. This location puts you squarely in the middle of everything. Did I mention you can walk to food and entertainment? A couple other shops to note: there is an HEB (our fantastic grocery store on Dunlavy) approximately four long blocks away, a C-store one block away (on Richmond), and a CVS two long blocks away (also on Richmond).
