Get away from it all with a quiet stay in the Texas Hill Country. We are far enough away to appreciate nature, yet close enough to Austin (~30min) to be able to enjoy all the city has to offer! The space Your private bedroom has a super comfortable, queen size, pillow top bed with oodles of fluffy pillows and plenty of warm blankets if needed. The walk-in closet contains more than enough room for clothes, suitcases and necessities for 2. The television is connected to a PS3 console for game time or cuddling up to a Netflix show with a glass of wine. Don't forget to peak out the window for a picturesque view of natures favorite things! Finally, just across the hall is your cheerfully bright private bathroom fully equipped for all your basic needs. Guest access We have a small a cozy living room for sitting in front of the fire on a cold evening, or a competitive game of Monopoly. Whatever your interests, we welcome you and your family to our home. The laundry room is equipped with washer and dryer as well as detergent and dryer sheets if you forgot yours! The kitchen is open to store any food or snacks you have brought along on your trip, and because I love getting creative in the kitchen there is every gadget, utensil or pan known to man available. A summer morning cup of coffee on the back deck (before the sun gets there) will let you enjoy the quiet before the day, so feel free to use all of the amenities the kitchen has to offer, especially the coffeepot! The back deck is my favorite place, especially on a warm spring day when the wildlife is so active. Enjoy a a meal at the table outside or just sit and read a book with the scents of sage and oregano around you. Feel free to pick and use any herbs (there are tons!) from the pots on the deck to inspire your own cooking creativity. Be sure to check out the garden for any newly sprouted veggies to munch on as well, or the fruit trees for a sweet kumquat. During your stay I am usually available, either roaming around the house or garden somewhere, or by phone. So, whether you need to find the nearest country winery or some great bbq, I'm always happy to help! Other things to note I am both a small business owner and a student, so during the week both my boyfriend and I are usually out of the house until the evening. We do our best to give privacy and autonomy to guests around our home in the evenings and during the weekends. We also have a 9yr old son that is very inquisitive and wants to be everyone's friend if we let him! However, no matter the day or time you can rest assured that your comfort and privacy will always be our first priority!
