Cozy Cabin with Nature Trails

Located in the beautiful Pine Curtain of East Texas, our 15 acres is a great place to find peace and quiet. Walk the nature trails and just relax and forget all your worries. Spend time on the private screened in porch. The yard is shaded by big old trees and includes a hammock for a quick nap or reading a book. We have two dogs (Great Pyrenees) and two cats plus a handful of chickens as well as a garden and fruit orchard. The entire cabin is available to you. Come and go as you please. The space The cottage is one room, studio style. The bathroom is private. French doors open up to a private screened in porch. The kitchen has an electric coffee pot, electric kettle, microwave and refrigerator. There are steps going into the cottage. Parking is available right in front of the cottage. We cannot allow pets or children at this time. We live on the property in a nearby cabin. The cottage is entirely separate, giving you plenty of privacy. Guest access You are welcome to walk the nature trails or meander through the garden. Just be careful of rocks, sticks, ruts and roots - walk at your own risk. We do try to keep the trails as tidy as possible. You may sit by the pond and skip rocks or watch the turtles. We have corn hole if you'd like to play games outside, as well as several games for inside play. We have a fire pit and chairs. Ask about a yoga, reiki and sound bath experience. We cannot allow pets, service animals or children at this time. Other things to note No parties. We recycle. And, you are welcome to feed any food scraps to the chickens in their coop only, please.
