Quiet escape from SX mayhem. Classic Hyde Park feel, cozy atmosphere, personal entrance, full kitchen, 30sec walk to bus stop, 5min walk to Hyde Park favorites, 10min Lyft to mayhem. You're gonna love it. The space This place is perfect. The house has that classic 1940's Hyde Park feel and the room has a quaint atmosphere, tons of natural light, plenty of books to check out and ample storage for your things. I am an artist, so my easel is set up and i'll leave a few drawing supplies if you'd like to create something of your own. The closet is spacious with hangers for clothing. I absolutely loved my 3 1/2 years in this room and in this house and I know you will too! Guest access You have your own front door and the internal bedroom door locks with a key. The bathroom is right behind my room, so there's reasonable privacy. The kitchen is fully functional and at your disposal (fridge, cabinet, appliances, stove, etc...), a washer and dryer are readily available and the living room is spacious. During your stay I am traveling so unfortunately I will not be there to greet you. My roommates will take care of anything you need. My roommates are fun and open people who are used to hosting a variety of guests: a Neuroscience PhD candidate/killer musician, a soon-to-be lawyer/overall badass, a pickling entrepreneur/Juiceland expert, an artist/bike enthusiast, and me, an artist just livin' that artist lyfe. They love to explore and would be happy to show you the ropes if you need recommendations. Above all, they're fun as hell. *while smoking is not allowed inside, the front porch is the perfect place to do so. **there's a cat, Xiu Xiu (goes by shoe), who is quite possibly the best cat you will ever meet. She doesn't stay in my room so if you're allergic it shouldn't be a huge problem. Other things to note We love to have fun and have been known to host some of the most exciting parties in neighborhood. Coincidentally, my roommate will be turning 29 on March 25th, his brother is coming into town and he plans to throw one of those parties. Thankfully, the room is private enough to escape the mayhem should you want to, but the party is a great place to meet people, let loose and party as "the locals" do!
