Trewenna - a Treasure in Tregony

Trewenna is a beautiful, Cornish stone cottage in the centre of Tregony nr Truro. Freshly renovated with 4 bathrooms, wood burner - super cosy for autumn breaks or Christmas, New Year stay. We have lovingly created the perfect space to enjoy a relaxing week or short stay. WFH + great for a large family or group of friends– you'll find this house very spacious and comfortable, purposed in every way for super hols. Easy driving distances to lovely beaches, walking, St Mawes, Falmouth, Truro. The space Trewenna is a Cornish, Georgian town house with many original features for you to discover and enjoy. There’s a pretty, private garden with parking at the rear of the property. The kitchen is fitted with double oven and grill, induction hob, a huge array of good quality homeware and cutlery. All rooms are spacious and equipped to give you the best holiday experience. There’s a large lounge with log burner and 60” screen. A spacious dining room features wide French doors which open onto the outdoor eating area. A snug next to the dining room has an additional single bed option (message for info) and also features entertainment options! - wall mounted screen, puppet theatre, books etc. Ensuite bathrooms to bedrooms 1 & 2 in addition to a large family bathroom featuring a beautiful, double-ended bath with view of the stars! We have designed the whole house with holidays in mind, with lots of spaces to just relax and take a break. Equally, Trewenna is kitted out to suit 'working from home' or a 'contractors base' with super-fast fibre-to-house broadband, ample desk/dining spaces. There is a hand-built Cornish stone pizza oven with alfresco dining area, also an outdoor grill/bbq, external lighting and stone ice trough for chilling your drinks! There’s a small grass lawn and a soft furnishings area next to the lawn, parasol and coffee table. Beyond this is a gravel area for parking one vehicle and attractive double gates that secure the back garden. Week-long bookings are preferred during the main holiday periods please. Trewenna is the ideal, warm and cosy base for a beach or walking holiday or visiting all the wonderful attractions Cornwall has to offer at any time of the year. You will feel very well looked after, a welcome pack of wine, milk and bread is always provided. Guest access You can access to all parts of the property and garden except locked airing cupboards and roof spaces. Other things to note The outdoor pizza oven and grill should be used with caution and not both at the same time, as space is limited around the front of these fire appliances. Please do not let children play near or with the grill or pizza oven when they are in use. The door of the pizza oven gets very hot and should be handled very carefully, planning first where to rest the oven door on either side of the oven when opening the oven to stoke the fire or place pizza.
