It is a spacious apartment with two good size bedrooms, two full baths and a recently renovated kitchen and living and dining area. It is very comfortable and it has been professionally designed.' The apartment has an independent entrance directly from the street. My wife and I live in the apartment above (top 2 floors of the house), so we will be easily available for anything that we can help. We will make sure you have a good time at our place. Bloomingdale is one of the trendiest and more historic neighborhoods in Washington DC. There are several restaurants and bars within a few blocks from the apartment. Public transportation at your door steps for convenience. Walking distance to US Capital and Downtown DC. On street parking is plentiful in the neighborhood and you can also try the Capitol BikeShare system just couple of blocks away. You can also take the metro (about 12-15 minute walk to the Shaw Metro) or many buses. The house is just two blocks from Rhode Island Avenue NW and its bus lines. The neighborhood has a walk score of 89 which is described as one of the "most walkable neighborhood in Washington D.C". Flexible with check in/check out unless someone has booked the night before or after the stay. TVs are connected to the internet to be used with any of your services (Netflix, YouTube TV, etc.). Each room has its own TV. Street parking is free with a permit that I can get for the guest at not cost. I just need guest to let me know ahead of time and provide me with the following information about the vehicle to get the guest permit from DC government: make, model, color, plate number and registration state. If you are renting a car you can provide me the information at the moment of the check-in and I will get the permit in few hours. However, please let me know in advance that you will be needing a parking permit. Off street parking on the premises could be provided at an extra cost of $45 a day upon availability. Please let me know in advance if you will be using the off street parking space. Level II charging for EV vehicle can be provided on this parking space for an additional $30 a day.
