There's no need to worry about forgetting stuff left in a bedside draw as the bedrooms only contain the bed/s with pillow, sheets, blanket and towel, a bin and your luggage/bags. Guests cannot enter the basement rumpus room or the garage as they are locked. The whole backyard is a chicken run that has three free range chickens and full of weeds and fruit trees. Guests please do not enter the fully fenced backyard - enter at own risk as it is wild and unevenly full of vegetation, food scraps, sharp fencing metal, oyster shells, decaying plant matter and grey water in some areas - it's an urban jungle nature reserve for chickens to live in. *The gas is not connected. This means the gas stove inside the house is not able to be used (guests can cook with the electric stoves including the single hotplate in the outdoor kitchen for extra steamy smoky spicy oily cooking that may set off the alarms).
