The pool house is at Eagle Mountain Lake with lake access. You have the entire pool house to yourself. It can sleep 8 people but PLEASE note there is only one bathroom. We live on the property in an apartment over the garage. We are accessible but will not bother you unless you need us. There is a fire pit, pool with slide/waterfalls, hammocks, 2 kayaks, 2 stand up paddleboards, & a lily pad. We have a 22 foot tritoon boat and we rent it out by the hour or by the day based on availability. The pool house is 1200 SF with kitchenette good for basic meals. Living area and table for 8 for dining or games. The sleeping is in a bunkroom with 2 queen beds below and two full beds above. There is a twin bed in the loft and a comfortable sleeper sofa in the living area. The outdoor space has 6 loungers, table and chairs, sectional seating area, firepit, solo stove, hammocks, swings on the dock and more. The lake is very low right now so there is a shoreline where the 2 kayaks and 2 stand up paddleboards (SUP's) are left for easy access to the lake. There is also a lily pad you can use in the lake but most people prefer to swim in the heated pool. The pool has a slide and waterfalls. This property is great for small groups or families who want to have a peaceful or active retreat. Full access to the pool house and any parts of the outdoor spaces. We stay in the apartment over the garage. There is plenty of parking inside the property for about 8 cars (more if you pack them in) but we recommend having people park outside the gate to leave the driveway clear. Then the view is better from the pool and patio! It is your choice! If you are having multiple guests join you during the day (we allow up to 12) let us know if you want us to lock the gate open so they don't have to bother with the code to get in. We live on the property in an apartment over the garage. We will be available but will not bother you unless you need something or want to chat. We want to give you your space. You may see us taking the dog out on a leash or coming and going in our gray Telluride. In the summer you may see us going out on our boat. We are on a private street. Our property is gated. We will give you a gate opener to use during your stay. Please leave it out on the kitchen counter when you leave. They are $45 each! :) There is enough parking for a dozen cars between the parking inside the property and on the street outside our gate. Please do not block the white truck on the premises. This is NOT a good place to cook large meals. The pool house has a dishwasher, full sized refrigerator (in adjoining utility room) and microwave. There is an air fryer and hot plate so you can cook basic meals but this is not the place to come cook gourmet meals. If you want to grill out on our grill, cook basic meals or order pizza and door dash you will enjoy this kitchen! This property is NOT toddler friendly! There are steep drops off of patio, no railing on the dock and inherent dangers from living on a lake. Also the pool is 11 feet deep in the end with the water slide. Children will need to be heavily supervised. We have an outdoor cat named Scooter. He is very friendly and will try to get into the Pool House but he is not allowed in there! It is best not to try to pick him up or pet him. Just leave him alone and he will sit by you on the pool deck and bask in the sun. We have a lab mix dog named Augie. We will keep him on leash while guests are on property. PLEASE NOTE that there is lots of NATURE around this property. So we will net the pool every morning and get the spider webs off the dock but the webs will come back and little bits of nature will get in the pool. There is a small net and a trash can to use while you are in the pool to "detail" it. I love sitting on a pool noodle and skimming the top! There are life jackets under the carport in various sizes. Life jackets must be worn for kayaks and stand up paddleboards. We do not charge extra for using these items but it is also quite a bit of work to pull them into the lake and they are not "pristine". They sit outside so they will be rugged. But they are lots of fun and if you are up for it please use them and enjoy!
