Nestled on the shores of Matagorda Bay this coastal retreat is more than just a home; it's a curated experience designed to make your stay unforgettable. Indianola is a quiet fishing town, so if you are looking for relaxation, fishing and family fun look no further. The space The home has 3 bedrooms upstairs with one king, one queen and a full size bunk bed. There 2 separate rooms downstairs one with a king bed, and one queen size bed. The house has 4 TVs: one upstairs, one in each room downstairs and one in the open air garage area - great for watching games while enjoying the outdoors. Fast streaming wifi for working from home, a great place to work with spectacular views and breezes. The main area of the upstairs in open concept that includes a large gathering area and very spacious outdoor decks, laundry room and three bedrooms. There are 2 full baths upstairs and a half bath down along with an outdoor shower. It's perfect for rinsing off after returning from the beach or taking a shower. A public pier is within 50 yards of the home, you can also launch a boat from the Indianola Fishing Marina Bar and Grill just two miles down the road. If you like a bit slower pace and fewer people than Galveston or Port A, you'll love Indianola. Guest access The entire house, upstairs and down is available for use. The storage building out back is closed to guests. Other things to note We provide bicycles, swings, corn hole, large deck chairs for just sitting, an oversized hammock Several great beach fronts sit along the 5 miles of Ocean Drive. At one end you'll find a popular crabbing destination and at the other end the Indianola Fishing Marina (IFM) where for $5, you can fish off the back. The IFM serves up some great burgers, fried shrimp and rib eye steaks. Bands play on most Friday and Saturday nights in the spring through the fall. They also serve your favorite beverages from beer to frozen margaritas. It's a great place to sit in the sun, enjoy the beautiful view, watch the boats go by, and FISH of course. Magnolia Beach, which is 1 mile from Pura Vida, is a large beach where you can swim, sun bathe or fish. The water is shallow and very safe for swimming. The sand is actually crushed shell which coarser than the typical fine beach sand that coats your body. Indianola is a unique, historical destination. It was originally named Indian Point in 1846 and many remnants remain.
