This is a private cabin at Elk Point Lodge- a peaceful and secluded resort tucked in the pines on the eastern shore of Vallecito Reservoir - the quiet side. There is convenient free lake access from this cabin. Cabin 5, the Wilderness Cabin, is our largest with 3 bedrooms and plenty of room. The fun retro decor highlights our amazing location within the San Juan National Forest and the majestic area wildlife. The large new deck has room for the whole crew to relax and take in stunning views. The space This cabin sleeps six between two queen beds and two twins. The living room has plenty of couch space and a wood stove for those cool mountain evenings. With a full kitchen and a large dining table, this is the perfect cabin for families and larger groups looking for the quintessential lake vacation! -Roku tv with Netflix and Hulu included -Bathtub -Propane grill -Fans provided but NO AC Guest access We are located 2 miles down an unpaved, but well maintained, county road. Driveways are gravel/dirt. All cabins have steps up to deck to access front door. Other things to note Security Device Disclosure: We have a ring doorbell at the self checkin station. It is facing the public parking area, and does not record, the camera only turns on if a guest rings for assistance. There are not recording devices at or inside any of the individual cabins. There are several cameras posted around the property on utility buildings for general property security (we are very rural). Reservation Policy Minimum night stay may be required. Call or e-mail for details. All Cabins are NO SMOKING. Refunds/Cancellations Deposits are refundable with 30 or more days cancellation notice prior to the check-in date. No refunds of deposit on cancellations made less than 30 days prior to check-in unless Cabin is re-rented. $50 accounting fee, per Cabin, is deducted from all cancellation refunds canceled within 30 days of check-in (pending vacancy is filled). No refunds for early departure. Pet Policy Please crate your pet if left unattended for any length of time in your cabin. There is a $30.00 pet fee, with a maximum of two pets per Cabin. There is a $100 Refundable pet deposit required at Check-in. Smoking Fee There is a $250 charge for smoking within the cabins. All cabins are non-smoking. Cabin Damages There will be a cabin inspection following check-out. Guests are responsible for all damages within their cabin. These charges can billed following check-out.
