Naturally, the kitchen is also stocked with basic dining, cooking and serving essentials including plates, bowls, silverware, stemless wine and drinking glasses, cooking utensils and kitchen accessories, such as can opener, wine opener, meat thermometer, measuring spoons and more. There is a set of plastic plates and cups if you wish to dine outside. No other cooking supplies are guaranteed, but likely to include oil, sprays or other cooking ingredients, foil, cling wrap, etc. We recommend assessing current kitchen stock before shopping for any meals you plan to prepare! LIVING ROOM •Open plan great room with kitchen, dining area and living area combined. •Sliding doors with direct access to the back deck •Vintage 1960's brass Malm fireplace with electric fireplace insert. Heat optional. Turns on with a touch of a button. •Sonos speakers connected on the Essex House wifi OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: The private 17-foot Hydro-pool is a cross between a pool and hot tub, with resistance jets for swimming in place. Its normal resting temperature is 85–95°F. Spa heat up to 104°F is available for $50 per night, or $200 total for stays of four nights or longer in a given week; please request it at least 48 hours before arrival. The heating fee is currently waived while construction is underway on a new house behind Essex House. The Hydro-pool is serviced twice weekly. A technician will enter the backyard through the padlocked side gate for approximately 15–20 minutes to maintain water balance. Note: You will be charged $250 if your usage results in the hydro-pool needing extraordinary cleaning or to be drained. Please shower before using. No food and drink in the hydro-pool. Please follow the hydro-pool rules as posted in the game room and on the front of the hydro-pool itself. Two exterior security cameras are located at the front-door entrance and back-gate entrance. They record video and audio when motion is detected. The home does not have child-safety setups: deck stair gates can be closed, but the Hydro-pool does not have safety baby gates. Check-in is after 4 PM local time and checkout is by 11 AM. Early check-in or late checkout may be available for $200 each, or $400 for both. Daily cleaning is not provided, though a mid-stay clean may be available for an additional fee. Guests must electronically sign the rental agreement sent after booking. WE ALSO HAVE: •Fast Starlink Satellite Internet •Built-in work desk with a landscape mural painted by your hostess. •Whole house water softening system •2 outside security cameras. One is positioned on front door entrance and one on the back gate entrance. Camera actively records video and audio when it senses motion. •Essex House Sedona does not have any child safety setups. However, the back deck has closable gates at each set of stairs. The hydro-pool does not have any safety baby gates. We do provide a pack n' play, a high chair, and a few baby plates, cups and utensils. INCLUDED WITH YOUR VACATION HOME HOUSE SUPPLIES Your home will be stocked with an initial supply of trash bags, paper towels, kitchen sponge, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher pods, toilet paper, and laundry detergent. OTHER HOUSEHOLD ITEMS & APPLIANCES •Bath and spa towels are provided to accommodate the max occupancy of the home •Bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, custom scented Essex House body wash, and hairdryers. •Fully equipped laundry room with washer, dryer, ironing board, iron and steamer. GUEST ACCESS You will have private, exclusive access to the entire home, all interior spaces, and the fully fenced backyard. Self check-in is available via smart lock; your unique four-digit access code will be sent about 72 hours before arrival and will remain active for your stay. Free driveway parking for two vehicles and free street parking are available. SEDONA QUIET HOURS 10PM - 7AM The house is located in a very quiet neighborhood. Respect for our neighbors and neighborhood are the most important thing to us. Do not book this house if you plan to be loud and disrupt our neighbors. Please don't make our neighbors call the Sedona Sheriff to complain about noise, doing so will result in a $100 fine. •Absolutely no parties. •No wedding receptions, parties, large gatherings, or any other special events. •No tour buses, RVs, or commercial vehicles. •No ATVs, trailers. •No commercial filming or commercial photography without the written consent from management. •Maximum number of guests is 8, this includes any day guests. - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS - WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN AND CHECK OUT? Check-in is after 4PM local time, and check out is no later than 11AM. If we are able to accommodate an early check-in or late check out, there is a fee of $400 for both or $200 for either early check in or late check out. DO YOU PROVIDE DAILY CLEANING SERVICE? No, however, a mid-week or mid-stay clean can be provided for an additional fee. CAN WE HAVE THE SPA HEATED? If you would like SPA heat for the hydro-pool (max temperature is 104F) the pricing is $50 dollars per night, or $200 total for a stay of 4 nights or longer in a given week. Please let your property manager know at least 48-hours in advance of your arrival if you would like SPA heat added to your reservation. DOES YOUR HOME HAVE OUTDOOR MUSIC SYSTEMS? We have no outdoor music system due to the strict City of Sedona noise restrictions. Sonos speakers in the living room and game room connect with the Essex House wifi. PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED NO SMOKING INSIDE THE HOUSE Guest access You have access to the whole house. Private, fenced in backyard. Other things to note We send out an Essex House digital guidebook to all of our guests which includes all the best hikes, restaurants, and things to do in Sedona. It is also filled with short instructional videos on how everything works at the house. Our guests love that it is sharable, so everyone can help with the travel planning. We also have a Red Rocks parking pass for guests to use during their stay. It covers the $5 parking fee at all the trailheads.
