Within an hour's drive is fishing, skiing, sledding, golf, Silverwood Theme Park, Sandpoint, Spokane, National Forest, Hiawatha Trail and more. This bungalow is the place to be to walk to shopping and recreation or drive a short distance for summer and winter outdoor sporting. The space The bungalow is light, airy, and open with light decor. Original hardwood floors (yes a bit creaky) create a natural warmth. Design elements include natural wooden window frames, solid real wood floors, green vintage laminate on the kitchen floor, an arched passageway to the living room, some stucco walls, built-in closets and drawers (that don't all close perfectly), and solid wood maple kitchen cabinets displaying excellent craftsmanship. The property is on a large corner lot with ample street parking as well as a private parking pad. that holds one car. The street parking will work well for trailers, campers, and vehicles towing boats. The property has a large lawn. It is mowed weekly, and the sprinklers go on early in the morning and late at night (roughly 6 a.m. and 11 p.m.). Senske also attends to property maintenance items including pest control, weed control, lawn aeration, and seeding. WE CANNOT STOP THESE SERVICES FOR GUESTS. There is a garage on site that is not available for guests. Guest access The laundry room, with a washer and dryer, is located in an unfinished basement. This is a shared space (as it has owner cleaning supplies and is used for storage of personal items) and has not been updated or improved. It is not maintained in mint condition for guest use. The walls and floor are concrete. The space is locked and only available upon request, upon which the door code will be provided. We are happy to share this place with guests who won't hold its unfinished nature against us. Other things to note One portable unit provides air conditioning. There are also electric fans in each bedroom plus one additional one. Keeping blinds closed on the sunny side of the home during the hottest days also helps to keep the temperature down. The AC unit is only needed on hotter days during July and August.
