Inspired by our recent travels across Spain & Portugal, bring your friends and family to our large, sea-facing Blue Waters apartment - enjoy this great space with lots of room for fun. This sea-view apartment is on the 4th floor, and comes with a covered car-park. Beyond the property is a cremation ground where families bid farewell to their departed ones, and a temple has been constructed in front of our building, clearly visible to guests. The space The entire apartment is air-conditioned, a large kitchen with a bar/breakfast counter with bar stools, with a 43-inch Smart TV for added fun and relaxation. Verity MIRA Oceanic View offers an almost 180-degree view of the Bay of Bengal with tall UPVC windows in the living room to capture the pristine ocean view. One of the two bedrooms offers similar views of the Sea. The apartment is on the 4th floor of a 5-storey building and has dedicated high-speed lifts / elevators. The terrace floor can be utilised by the Guests to enjoy an outdoor experience of the Ocean and the sky, and the cool sea breeze. Located in Vaithikuppam part of Pondicherry, a 1.4 km distance takes you to Sri Aurobindo Ashram as well as to the Rock Beach/Beach Road Promenade and the French Quarters (popularly known as White Town). Guest access Whilst MIRA can host 6-7 people, it has a connecting door which leads to MAYA, which is our adjacent property. As a separate property, MIRA can host 6-7 people, and as a joint property, can host 12-14 people. Other things to note Beyond the property is a cremation ground where families bid farewell to their departed ones. This property is located 200 meters from the ocean, providing stunning views of the ocean from a distance. The property is located on Pappamal Koil Street which serves as a vital connecting road within this rapidly developing and vibrant neighborhood. As is common across the country, the government periodically conducts maintenance and repair work on this road to ensure infrastructure improvements. Important Note for Guests: Our property is designed to offer you a comfortable and memorable stay. To ensure everything goes smoothly: Upon Check-In: Once you check in to the property, please message us through the Airbnb chat box to confirm that you have arrived and that everything is in order. If you notice anything amiss, it is crucial that you inform us immediately rather than waiting until the middle of the night, as we may not be able to assist you during late hours. Additionally: Our linens are thoughtfully designed by our team, so please avoid using iron boxes on the bed linens to preserve their quality. Our property features large sea-facing windows to maximize your ocean views. To ensure comfort, please shut the windows during changes in wind direction to prevent any aromas or mosquitoes from entering. We have chosen not to install netlon mesh screens on our large sea-facing windows to preserve the uninterrupted views of the ocean. Meshing such expansive glass windows would diminish the beauty and charm of your experience. Across India, especially between 5 PM and 8 PM, mosquitoes are common. Keeping windows closed during this time will help you avoid them. We have not provided a microwave oven, as repeated misuse by guests—such as using metal or steel items—has caused the oven to become severely damaged in the past. Instead, guests are welcome to use the induction cooktop provided to heat or reheat food, along with the pots and pans available. However, please note that it may not be entirely suitable for large-scale cooking, as it does not include the large cooking vessels typically required for such purposes. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation, ensuring a pleasant stay for you and future guests. Please be advised that during the rainy season and monsoon period, the property is situated in high-humid Pondicherry, which may cause the floors to feel slightly sticky due to the elevated moisture levels in the atmosphere. Additionally, despite being thoroughly washed and dried, bedsheets and covers stored in the cupboard may occasionally carry a faint musty odor due to the humid conditions. These occurrences are natural and typical in environments with high humidity, particularly in coastal locations. Furthermore, during the summer months, if previous guests have checked out while leaving the air conditioning set to very low temperatures, condensation can occur on the floors. This may, at times, result in a slightly sticky feel due to elevated condensation levels.
