From this location, you're a few minutes from downtown Chapel Hill, close to beaches at Jordan Lake, and close to various quaint towns in the area. Please read the notes. The space Please note the following to make sure this is the location for you: This is a cabin surrounded by 6 acres of woods, yet a few minutes to unique and charming luxury. Unwind, unplug, breathe, relax... - Please enjoy nature. We work to promote the natural flora and fauna and hope it touches you as it does us. - Please leave the cabin and the grounds as you find them. We don't charge a lot to clean the cabin with the hopes our guests leave things as we would ourselves :) We have been lucky and our guests seem like family (the good kind, not the kind you cannot wait to have leave....) This property is good for 2 adults and a child at most. It is not good for 3 or more adults. If your plans include more people, please contact us first to ensure we can accommodate you. We have kept this cabin intentionally simple but made sure it has the essential comforts. The total interior space is just under 600 sq feet. It sits on 6 wooded acres with a pond in the center. The property is in Fearrington Village and is less than one mile / 3 minutes to Fearrington Village Center, which is well-known for its shops, spa, restaurants, beautiful central park, and much more. It's about 12 minutes to downtown Chapel Hill and about the same to downtown Pittsboro. The cabin has stairs at all entrances, and stairs to the loft. It is not wheelchair accessible. If you require wheelchair access and want to be in this area, we recommend considering the Fearrington Village Inn just down the road. There are NO sidewalks or paved areas on this property. There is no TV or cable. There is wifi and we stream movies, have video conferences, etc. with no problem. There is a loft with a Queen bed and a Twin XL bed. There is no separate bedroom in this cabin. There is central heat and air. This cabin and property are ideal for those looking to get away and de-stress. It is simple, clean, and quiet. Our longest guest stay was more than four months, and they did not want to go back to reality after their stay. We appreciate feedback and tips that help us make this cabin and property more enjoyable for everyone. We are opening up our retreat to guests, but we are not a professional rental business. We work hard to ensure that we can provide a happy place for you to enjoy, just as we do. Please note: There is NO trailer parking or RV access or parking on the property, and no dumping of RV waste or materials. If you have a trailer, RV, or anything other than a traditional passenger vehicle, please contact us to discuss before booking. If you need a trailer or RV spot, the closest available are Jordan Lake Parks found online. Thanks! This is a smoke and vape-free cabin. We cannot accommodate smokers at this property. Other things to note We kindly ask that you treat our home with love just as we do, and please leave it as you find it :) This cabin has been our little, much-loved retreat and ongoing labor of love. We are continually improving the surrounding property with trails and gathering areas. We do not allow parties or groups. Use of the property is for registered guests only. Thanks! This cabin is for two adults and one child only. It is not good for 3 adults or multiple children. We added a bar table and changed the chairs to a large loveseat. While the chairs were cool for us, some guests seemed to have a hard time getting up - everyone seems to love the change :)
