Entirely renovated, spacious and quiet farmhouse with new gunite pool is a 5 minute bike ride to the beach or Greenport village. With original hardwood floors, modern open kitchen with Viking appliances, two fireplaces, and al fresco dining under a pergola. The house also features central air, renovated bathrooms and a separate suite with a full bathroom above the barn for guests. The space The house was built in 1900, so our goal was to maintain the original details while updating the kitchen and bathrooms. The kitchen was fully gutted, to provide for a modern open chefs kitchen with caesar stone countertop, Viking appliances, wine fridge and lounge area by the wood burning fireplace. The floors throughout the house were meticulously restored, and the floors on the second floor were painted white. There is a living area off the kitchen, as well as a large formal living area by the wood stove. Both bathrooms were recently renovated, with a custom slate shower basin in the upstairs bathroom, and an antique sink stand and mirror from famed Beal & Bell (down the street), and a new porcelain tub and custom glass tiles in the downstairs bathroom. The lawn is maintained weekly, and the privet hedges planted in 2013 are now over 10 feet high and provide privacy. The house is also surrounded by hydrangea bushes. We just finished renovating the large loft space on the second floor of the barn to be a game/play/movie room, with one giant day bed that easily converts to two full beds. The barn also has a full brand new bathroom, perfect for a visit from the in-laws! A gunite pool was completed in the Spring of 2023, with a retractible cover and sun chairs. Guest access The only space in the house that is off limits is the basement, attic and garage. Other things to note We have a 2 week minimum stay as per Southold town law.
