Adorable 1 bedroom apartment barn-loft located in a country setting but still just two minutes from I69, 7 mins from airport, 10 mins from major Lansing restaurants and shopping, & 20 mins from MSU. No shared walls. Kitchenette. Large living room. WiFi & Hulu. Full bed in bedroom and queen pullout w/ memory foam mattress in living room. We live in house next to the "barn". Behind "barn" is a fire pit and patio you are welcome to use. Beautiful landscaping all around. Welcome! You are renting the 2nd story of our finished barn! Decorated with country charm and laminate wood flooring throughout. Access to the 2nd story apartment is located by walking through a photo studio (not in use) to a stairway. The living room is very spacious. Large plasma TV, Hulu, and DVD player. Pullout couch features a queen memory foam mattress. The bedroom has french doors, full sized bed, night stand, and dresser with a mirror. This apartment has a kitchenette with dishes for eating and drinking and silverware. Toaster oven, double hot plate, mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot are available. Tons of counter space and open shelving. Sink is only in the bathroom, but dish soap and a large bowl are available for washing dishes. Small dining room table to eat at (seats 4). There is a pot and a pan or 2, but if you want to do any large-scale cooking, you will want to bring your own additional cookware. There is a patio directly behind the barn, with chairs and a coffee table, that you are welcome to use. It looks into the pines and is very peaceful. We are usually right next door. If you have any questions, feel free to knock on the front door, text, or call. The patio behind the barn is yours to use as well as the fire pit. The rest of the yard will be off limits except for the access areas to the building and parking. Driveway is shared, but your own parking is available right in front of the building on the gravel. Enter and exit the building through the red door on the side. Please do not use the front doors (they will be locked). You can access the apartment by walking through the first story photo studio to a stairway. There is no door on the stairway. We don't use the photo studio when guests are staying, but we may occasionally pop in there to grab something. This will still maintain your privacy, since your apartment is completely on the 2nd story. Please do not touch or disturb anything on the first floor. It can only be used to enter and exit your apartment. Call, text, or knock on our front door with any questions or concerns! This is a very quiet, peaceful area. Somewhat country, but still very close to everything. Great view of the stars at night! Neighbors are friendly and so are we :-) Vehicle We are on a dirt road, but not for very long. Also, we have security cameras in our photo studio , but there are none in the apartment in which you would stay. Finally, because of my extensive allergies, the shared access area to the apartment, and the fact that I am the one who cleans the apartment, we do not allow animals of any kind- whether service, emotional, or otherwise.
