Right in town yet surprisingly tucked away. Good for extended stays, staycations, romantic get away or just passing through. Guests do not have access to river from this property. The space THE CABIN: Recently updated and lovingly decorated from thrifty finds all over the country. The cabin provides 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, each tastefully furnished with mid century modern and antique treasures. Comfortably sleeping 4 people. Nightly rate includes 2 guests. There is an additional $15 for each guests with max of 5 guests. You’re sure to enjoy a restful night’s sleep with memory foam mattresses and luxury linens in both bedrooms. In a bind, the cabin can accommodate the additional 5th guest on the living room futon, but it isn’t the most comfortable to sleep on so procced at your own risk! There is one large TV in the living room with PHILO cable TV offering 63 popular cable channels. You’re also welcome to log into your own Netflix, HULU, amazon, ect accounts, but remember to log out once you’re done. Main bedroom (shroom room) has queen bed with useable closet where you will find extra linens. Second bedroom is cozy with full size bed but has beautiful river views as you wake up in the morning. There is a small sitting area offering warmth by small electric fireplace while watching the slow flow off the river. Perfect place to enjoy the river on a cold day. Enjoy coffee from the nook in the kitchen while watching the bald eagles frolic above this quiet stretch of the rock river. Kitchen equipped with fridge, microwave, electric stove, oven as well as dishes, cookware and cutlery. The vintage theme is taken into the kitchen with some fun 1970's tupperware and other kitchen utensils. Weather permitting, open the windows at the bay window and allow the fresh river breeze to enter the cabin. There are dishwasher pods above the stove if use of the dishwasher is needed. The deck (usable when snow not present on roof due to sliding snow) is wonderful for morning coffee, (or beverage of choice), an afternoon bbq, or a peaceful place to reflect. All towels and basic toiletries are included as well as WIFI and enough coffee and fixings to get you through the first few days. Feel free to use the small stackable washer and dryer in closet off the living area. Please clean out lint trap of dryer after use. RIVER ACCESS: While there are unobstructed views of the river, this property has no river access. The public access was just taken from us in Jan of 2021 You’re welcome to the entire property on the side of the street that the property is located. Across the street on the park-like area is for viewing only. It is private property that we do not own. Please do not trespass down to the river. NOTE: Only booked guests can gather on the property without prior authorization by the host. The cabin cannot accommodate many people and is limited for parking/seating. PETS: We are happy to accommodate dog guests with additional cleaning fee of $25 for 1 pet guest. This is a one time fee for entire stay. Pet guests must be in crate when left unattended on the property and on a leash when outside. You must clean up after your dog outside as well. We keep dog bowls, toys and a bed for our furry guests so feel free to utilize them! PET FEE: if you happen to forget you brought your pet with you…I will remind you. You will receive a request through the resolution center for the pet cleaning fee. PARKING: Down on this stretch of river, parking is tight. Any trailers will not fit down this road and there is no room to turn around. There is only room for two vehicles in the drive. Please only park in the marked location. If you have two vehicles, please park one behind the other. Guest access Entire place except garage. Other things to note There is one motion activated, light/security camera at the front door instead of a ring type doorbell. It can only “see” the front walkway. The camera will only capture your initial arrival but the light will continue to work throughout your stay. Please be accurate on the number of guests and pet guests when booking. Additional guests and pets that were not in your booking will be charged through Air BNB resolution center. We provide enought toilet paper, paper towels, garbgage bags, shampoo, bodywash, coffee, laundry soap, cleaning supplies, tin foil, plastic bags and shampoo, ect to get you started for at least a few days. If you find yourself running out of these items you commonly use at home, it will be your responsibility to provide more these items for the duration of your stay.
