Description

Sequoia Falls, a riverfront zen retreat home in Three Rivers, California is the ultimate base camp for exploring the Sequoia National Park, the ideal meeting place for families and friends, and a creative sanctuary for those seeking inspiration and renewal. We are located 3.5 hours from Los Angeles, 4.5 hours from San Francisco, 70 miles from Fresno Yosemite International Airport, and 3 miles from the entrance to Sequoia National Park. If you've not seen the Sequoias, now is the time! The space Sequoia Falls is a 4-bedroom / 4-bathroom modern, resort-style estate set on 3 fully fenced acres with private river frontage and beach access. The main house includes 3 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms, and the detached guest house includes 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom, offering privacy and space for families or groups traveling together. Guest Capacity The property comfortably sleeps up to 8 adults in beds. In limited cases, we may approve additional guests when traveling with children, as the guest house includes a sofa that lies flat and we provide sleeping bags and a Pack ’n Play. Please contact the host prior to booking if your group exceeds 8 guests. Exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis, and additional guest fees apply. Connectivity High-speed Spectrum internet (up to 1 Gig) with expansive Wi-Fi and Apple TVs for streaming throughout the property. Location & Seasonal Notes Three Rivers is perched in the Sierra Nevada foothills at 1,200 feet, so the property does not typically see snow during the winter months. However, the scenic drive into Sequoia National Park climbs above 5,000 feet, where winter conditions and snow are common. Guests are encouraged to check weather and road conditions before heading into the park during colder months. Sequoia National Park, America’s second-oldest national park, is a full-day destination. No visit is complete without walking among the giant sequoias, including the General Sherman Tree, believed to be the largest living tree on Earth. On the day you plan to head up into the park, you might consider picking up sandwiches from Sierra Subs & Salads before heading up the mountain. For a sit-down option inside the park, Wuksachi Lodge offers lunch and is located a few miles past the turnoff for the General Sherman Tree. After a day of exploring—walking the Sherman Tree trails, climbing Moro Rock, visiting Crystal Cave (reservations required), or strolling through Crescent Meadow—return to Sequoia Falls to grill dinner, enjoy a glass of wine, and roast s’mores under the stars as the river provides the perfect soundtrack for rest and relaxation. Guest access Guests enjoy exclusive use of the main house, guest house, and surrounding 3-acre, fully fenced riverfront grounds. Some structures shown on the property map are private and not part of the rental. Other things to note Location & Setting Sequoia Falls is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and is best suited for guests seeking a peaceful riverfront retreat. River & Natural Environment The property borders the Kaweah River. River conditions vary by season and can be swift during peak months (generally May–July). Guests should use caution near the river, walkways, and steps, and always supervise children and pets. While parts of the property are fenced, the river creates a natural breach in containment. Pets We welcome well-behaved, house-broken dogs by prior approval. Our home is carefully maintained, and we appreciate thoughtful communication from guests traveling with pets so we can ensure a smooth stay for everyone. Property Boundaries The river is public, but the granite formation across the river is not part of the property. Guests are asked to enjoy the river frontage directly in front of the home. EV Charging An on-site EV charger is available for guest use. Because the charger is stored securely when not in use, please let us know in advance if you plan to bring an electric vehicle so we can have it ready for you. A full Rental Agreement and Pet Policy will be provided after booking.
