There is a great local coffee shop called mad river coffee house a couple miles away. The mountain of Waterville estates features trails, a community center with a pond and a small ski resort. (Closed due to Covid-19) There are multiple larger ski resorts nearby. There is plenty of parking but you definitely need a car to get around New Hampshire and this area.
