This cottage-style townhome is located in Jekyll Island's newest cottage community, The Cottages at Jekyll Island, and is dressed with ocean views. This home has a master suite on the main floor, along with two guest bedroom ensuites. The first floor is home to an open kitchen, which flows into the beautiful dining and main living area. The fully furnished kitchen is equipped with a standard coffee maker, stainless steel Whirlpool appliances, and a spacious bar top with seating for four. This cottage provides easy access to a single-car garage off of the kitchen. Also off of the kitchen is the living area, equipped with ample seating and an electric fireplace. Finishing off the first floor is a screened-in porch, half bath, and laundry. The second floor houses two guest bedrooms each with a private bathroom and access to the upper balcony. This Cottage comes equipped with a gas grill, beach toys, board games, books, pack-n-play, and a highchair upon request. In addition, guests have access to The Cottages at Jekyll Island's million-dollar amenities, which include Clubhouse, zero-entry pool and fitness, beach deck, beach access, and a community fire pit. THE COTTAGES BEACH ACCESS: The Cottages beach is approximately 2000 linear feet and has a dune area and seawall that runs the length of the Cottages oceanfront property. There are 3 dune crossovers to the sand area landside of the seawall that are always accessible, and that area can be used for recreational purposes. The access to the beach over the seawall is centrally located at the pool & clubhouse. At high tide, the water is at the seawall. The tides change every 6 hours from low to high tide. A tide chart will help you plan your beach time. The nearest beach park with ocean access all day is Oceanview Beach Park, appx 2 miles south just past the Holiday Inn.
