Le Mas de Kyoto embodies a unique encounter between two worlds: the charm of the South of France and the refined elegance of Japan. At first glance, Le Mas de Kyoto evokes the typical image of Provence. The stone walls, the large tiled swimming pool faithful to the regional architecture, while the holm oaks and the songs of cicadas anchor the place in its natural environment. However, once the doors are crossed, another world is revealed: that of Japanese serenity and subtlety. The space Le Mas de Kyoto is an exceptional guest house located in a unique natural environment. A confidential address for lovers and families who like to find the warm atmosphere of a Provençal farmhouse combined with the refinement and delicacy of Japanese hospitality. Le Mas de Kyoto has two bedrooms, the Kiku room and the Sakura room, which promise an intimate and privileged experience. Their decorations and designs combine hotel comfort with a refined Japanese aesthetic where natural materials - stone, wood and fabrics - are carefully chosen according to the wabi sabi concept that can be summed up by this sentence: "Beautiful things are simple and profound, they transform and change, but their beauty endures over time" The Kiku room, named after the flower of the emblem of Japan, is an Eden of serenity. From your bed, through the large wooden arched windows, you can observe the green oak forest that is available to you like a painting. In the morning you can enjoy a refined breakfast that subtly combines French breakfast and the flavors of Japan. Served on the terrace facing the forest or in the Fuyu lounge. This one is composed of fresh and homemade products as well as freshly made dishes that smell of the passion and love of the chef Kaho. (Breakfast is included in the room rate) In the evening, if you want to continue your gastronomic journey in Japan, Le Mas de Kyoto offers a Japanese Table d'hôtes by chef Kaho. (additional charge) We invite you to join us on this journey of all the senses between the French art of living and Japanese refinement and subtlety. Other things to note Article 1. Check-in and check-out ✴︎ Check-in is possible between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Early check-in can be offered from 1 p.m., subject to availability, with an extra €20 per hour. ✴︎ Check-out is scheduled for 12 p.m. Late check-out is possible until 1 p.m., subject to availability, with an extra charge of €20 per hour.  Please note that these requests are subject to availability on the day and cannot be guaranteed in advance. Article 2. Tourist tax ✴︎ A tourist tax of €1 per person per night is payable at check-out. Article 3: Reservation condition ✴︎ Payment for the entire stay is required at the time of booking. The booking will be considered confirmed only after receipt of full payment. ✴︎The customer freely chooses the services offered on our booking platform. They acknowledge having read the essential information concerning the services, their destination and their conditions, and having obtained the necessary information before finalizing their reservation. The booking is considered accepted at the end of the booking process. Article 4: Cancellation policy   ✴︎ The guest can cancel their reservation for free up to 14 days before arrival. (Except 3% credit card service fee) The guest will be required to pay the full amount of the reservation if they cancel within 14 days of check-in. If the guest doesn't show up, they'll need to pay the full reservation amount. Article 5: Rules and safety Our house is located in a quiet and preserved environment, surrounded by nature, the richness of which is one of the main attractions of the place. In order to allow you to enjoy your stay with peace of mind, we would like to inform you in advance of the following points: ✴︎ The estate includes several staircases, some of which can be quite steep. ✴︎ The pool is equipped with a bar cover safety system. No permanent supervision is provided in the pool. Its use is under the responsibility of the bathers themselves or their companions, with all the necessary attention to safety. As a result, when you are staying with children, we kindly ask that you ensure their supervision, which remains your responsibility. In general, we draw your attention to the fact that the Mas de Kyoto is not suitable for children and that they are under your responsibility during the entire stay.  ✴︎ All our rooms are strictly non-smoking. In the event of non-compliance, a cleaning fee may be applied. ✴︎ In the event of damage to the equipment, furniture or property in the room or in the common areas of the Mas de Kyoto, in particular the exteriors, the repair costs may be invoiced according to a quote drawn up by a craftsman of our choice.  * In the event of loss of an item, a replacement fee may be charged to replace the lost item.  * Smoking is strictly forbidden on the premises, including outdoors. We would like to draw your attention to the risk of forest fires, especially in summer.  Article 6. Breakfast & Dinner ✴︎ Breakfast is served every morning between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. Please let us know in advance if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions. ✴︎Dinner is offered at a rate of €50 per person, upon reservation at least 24 hours in advance. Dinner service is at 7 p.m. In case of arrival after 7 p.m., we will unfortunately not be able to guarantee dinner service. ✴︎In case of severe allergies or dietary restrictions, please inform us in advance. We will do our best to take these elements into consideration and offer you a suitable solution. Articles 7. Animals at Mas de Kyoto  Dogs are allowed at Mas de Kyoto, other animals are not allowed. At Mas de Kyoto a very nice dog (Golden) and three cats are free on the estate. Article 8. Additional information ✴︎ We recommend keeping your valuables with you. The guest house declines all responsibility in case of loss or theft. ✴︎ Please respect the peace and quiet of the place, especially in the evening, in order to preserve the comfort of all guests.
