This home is secluded off the road in the woods and beside locally owned farms which have been in the farm families for decades. If you want peace and quiet, you will love it here. A parking lot behind the home gives you space to park and a separate entry way into the lower level of the house, which is partially basement, yet each room has access to natural lighting from windows. Guests have access to a sitting area with a wood stove, a kitchenette, 2 rooms with full and half bath. The space For 25 years, FarmWood Bed and Breakfast has hosted families, parents and children, an experience in the country. The primary home is situated back a long lane in a woods behind the best kept secret in Wakarusa. A well- maintained pond, which has attracted many neighbor children to swimming, boasts a sandy beech, dock and diving board. Summer generally brings about a vegetable garden along with all the flower gardens. In addition, an outdoor bath house, a fire pit, and small cabin, Sleepy Hollow, accommodates 4 guests who desire outdoor living. Guest access Guests have access to the parking lot behind the home and a separate entry way to the lower level of the house. 5 steps down leads into a full apartment on the lower level of the house into rooms with natural light in each room. Because of the personal nature of a private home, guests do not have self check in. Please know that inside the home, the apartment has access to an open stairway to the main floor living space. If you desire complete privacy, this home might not serve your interests. During your stay I love to chat and become acquainted and will avail myself to being a guide to the area. Evenings, I am generally free to chat on the front deck of the house.
