Altai Yurt is Luxurious and spacious with stunning views. Our unique 12 sided yurt is situated on 6.5 acres of rustic charm, with diverse wildlife on display and centrally located in Ballandean. We have 12 wineries within a couple of km’s that offer world class wines and Strange Bird varieties. Also, it is a short 5 min walk to the St Jude’s Bistro/cafe and the Ballandean Pub, 10 min drive to Girraween National Park and 5 min drive to Storm King Dam. The space Altai Yurt has 3 bed rooms and sleeps up to 6. It is a luxury stay with unique construction. This 12-sided building provides panoramic views of the bush and the adjacent winery. With all the creature comforts, beautiful fireplace, exclusive use of your own firepit and a massive deck for you to relax on, it is the ideal place to return to after exploring the Granite Belt’s offerings. Guest access You have the full use of Altai Yurt. This includes beautiful gardens and the ability to explore the bush land behind the farmhouse. You will get some great photo's up here. Other things to note Ballandean pub is a short 2 min walk away. They offer terrific meals, live music as well as local wines and craft beers. They also have a great kids play area.
