King Cottonwood is a master bedroom & bath in our classic 1908 farmhouse located on a 4-acre herb farm, herbal education & retreat center in the unique creative town of Paonia. If you love nature, herbs, orchards or vineyards, you'll feel right at home here. Minnesota creek runs through the farm; we are right on the edge of town, adjacent to Juniper & Sage hills with views of beautiful snow-capped mountains . And ... we have decent fiber internet for Zooming! The space Designed in the warm and colorful Santa Fe style, this comfortable yet stylish room includes it own roomy bath with a full sized ceramic tub & handheld shower. Authentic rustic furnishings and Southwestern décor add beauty to the practical features including a modern desk & ergonomic chair for working from home. This is the only bedroom on the main floor of the restored farmhouse. You have privacy but also access to the sitting room/library, living room with woodstove, dining room & chef's kitchen. Four mature, creative, interesting local folks live upstairs. People mostly keep farm hours, so it's a quiet, peaceful space. During your stay We live in other structures on the farm and are available when you need us, but we respect your privacy as well. We are happy to show you around the place and share local tips & treasures.
