Gîte located in the suite of the stately building of the 17th/18th centuries, it was once the residence of the lord of Mersuay, Deyle MAIGNIEN De MERSUAY. His great-great-granddaughter Eugénie De COUCY was born there in 1791. In 1812, she married the Marshal of the Empire Nicolas OUDINOT (the marshal with 35 wounds!) and became the Duchess of REGGIO. The village is crossed by the Lanterne river (1st category) and borders 2 ponds with an area of 75 ha (fishing possible). The space This cottage , backed by the stately building, totally independent, restored and decorated with taste, is located in the back extension that borders the street. It is accessible from the inner courtyard through an automatic gate where vehicles park. It can accommodate up to 12 people on 2 floors ( bedrooms and relaxation areas). Given the stairs to access the floors, the place is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. The cottage is accessible by 2 separate entrances from the inner courtyard; access to the 1st entrance with 1 staircase, access to the 2nd entrance with 4 stairs It includes: on the ground floor a hallway, 2 walk-in showers, 2 wc, a technical room with washer/dryer, vacuum cleaner, baby chair and changing table. A large kitchen , 12-person table, 1 microwave, storage spaces, 1 4-burner induction hob, 1 large electric oven, 1 dishwasher, 1 fridge with small freezer , coffee maker, kettle, raclette appliances.....all dishware and kitchen equipment provided. Still in the DRC: - a room adjoining the kitchen, with foosball, an exercise bike - in the extension another living room 10/12 people with armchairs, sofas and TV. On the 1st floor: - 3 bedrooms double beds 160x200cm; 1 through bedroom with 2 single beds 90x190cm. On the second floor: - 1 attic bedroom with 2 single beds 90x190cm - 1 bedroom double bed 160x200cm - an attic relaxation area with TV, sofa and armchairs. Also available: 1 extra folding extra bed for 1 person 90cm x 200cm Sheets, towels provided. Beds made at check-in. Heating consumption, cold and hot water, electricity included in the rates. Cleaning fees included in the rates. Free internet, Wi-Fi, Netflix. Automatic gate remote control provided Enclosed room for bikes. No smoking areas! An educational path of 7km on the perimeter of the 2 ponds of 75ha bordering the village will allow you to discover and observe a remarkable flora and fauna and many species of kingfish birds, storks, milans..... At 15km you will find the Maladière complex; swimming pool, aquagym, aquabike, aqua cross fit, pedal boat rental... Close to the village ( 3km ): bakeries, supermarket, restaurants/bar, care center, tobacconist, pharmacy, markets. Local producers nearby; cheese shop, vegetables, bison meat....
