Welcome Hall - Classic & Beautiful Horse Farm Stay
Welcome Hall is a beautiful, renovated historic home on a working thoroughbred farm. A wonderful family getaway, the spacious house drips with old charm, but also boasts modern amenities and fast fiber internet. Guests can enjoy walking the grounds and interacting with the farm animals amidst the serene setting. Welcome Hall was built and named in 1880. It still stands tall and remains a place where family and friends can gather and enjoy the peacefulness of farm life. The house has 5 bedrooms, 2 large common rooms, a formal dining room, and a modern spacious kitchen. The views of the surrounding farmland are breathtaking. Guests can enjoy the country air while lounging on either of 2 porches, or walking the grounds and watching the horses play in the fields. Guests will have full access to the farm house. They may walk around the property, fish in the pond, and visit the horses and chickens, but may not go into the fields with the horses. The hosts work and live on the farm. Welcoming and charismatic, they will be available to help ensure a lovely stay, but will respect your privacy. "Bourbon County is nestled in the heart of Kentucky's famous Bluegrass region. Its very name evokes visions of Thoroughbred horses grazing in lush green pastures bordered by age-old stone fences; lovely historic homes and buildings and beautiful rolling countryside. The area also offers an unusual group of sites and attractions for visitors to enjoy." ~bourbonky.com The farm is a 10-minute drive from Paris, 20 minutes from Lexington, and 25 minutes from the Kentucky Horse Park and Keeneland.
